Trestle on the branch line from Crawford up to Summit.
It was "stick- built" from scratch by club member Ralph
Edwards.

A West Central C-2 class Consolidation eases her train
over the
woodern trestle on a dark,
dreary, late afternoon back in
1938.
Loco is a Bachman Spectrum.
The arch bridge on the branch line. A modified
Lifelike
kit
constructed by
club member Dennis Hamilton. He also did the
background
painting
of the
forest, upper lake and waterfall. Ralph Edwards
modeled
the
lower lake and
rock areas. He also made the trees from his wife's
flower
bed.
The Consolidation #1217 begins crossing the arch
bridge.
The engine was painted and numbered for the West Central by Dennis
Hamilton.
A Union Pacific praire type 2-6-2. Pulls its train
from
Summit
down to
Crawford on the West Central branch line (yet
un-named).
The locomotive
is a Model Die Casting kit built and painted by club
member
Wally
Schuster.
The UP Praire gets a great view over the steel arch bridge.
The smoky little praire-type emerges from a tunnel on the
branch
line
from Summit down to Crawford. It looks like they are
burning
some
real nasty coal today!
Two trestles over Redwood Gulch on the West Central Model
Railroad.
The upper wooden trestle is on the branchline. The
lower
steel and
concrete trestle is on the West Central mainline.
The little Consolidation emerges from the tunnel and onto
the
wooden
trestle
on the branch line up to Summit.
